Kydex® T
Kydex T is a PVC and acrylic blend that is cost competitive with fire retardant ABS/PVC (FR-ABS) but with significantly higher impact strength and formability. Unlike FR-ABS, Kydex T is less hygroscopic and does not typically require pre-drying. Kydex T offers more uniform forming with less wall thinning and boasts significantly higher resistance to a wider range of chemicals and cleaners. Kydex T is also well suited for specific thermoforming applications requiring deep draw capabilities.
